Private Duty Nursing Opportunities in Palm Desert, CA

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a private duty nurse with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each individual receives high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Clinical Judgment: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Documentation and Communication: Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Intervention and Evaluation: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards, and revise the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current RN or LPN license for the state in which the nurse practices, current PPD or Chest X-Ray, and current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior nurse experience preferred.
- Enteral Feeds: Ability to administer enteral nutrition and manage related equipment.
- Tracheostomy Care: Experience with tracheostomy care and management.
- Ventilator Management: Knowledge of ventilator management and weaning techniques.
