Clinical Psychologist

As a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our members. Key Responsibilities:- Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and projective tests to assess patients' mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adults, adolescents, and children, using evidence-based treatments and interventions.
- Conduct initial interviews with patients, gathering and reviewing relevant information to determine the best course of treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services, ensuring patients receive timely and effective support during times of crisis.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions, preparing reports and letters as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using clear and concise language to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in clinical care.
- Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- California Psychologist License.
- At least two years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting, or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
- Internship in an APA-approved program.
- Experience in assessing for child/adult ASD and ADHD.
