Job Summary
Cregger Company, a leading wholesaler and retailer of building products and home goods, is seeking a skilled Plumbing Sales Representative to join our team. Responsibilities
This dynamic role requires an individual with strong communication skills to efficiently and courteously assist customers at the counter, provide product information, and handle orders accurately. Key duties include:
  • Service customers by taking orders and entering them into the system; give priority to regular accounts.
  • Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
  • Follow company pricing and credit guidelines.
  • Quickly solve customer problems.
  • Retrieve orders from warehouse quickly and accurately.
  • Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and promotional items.
  • Promote and sell overages, damaged, and discontinued items.
  • Handle customer complaints and returns while demonstrating a positive attitude.
  • Keep merchandising and counter areas clean and attractive.
  • Manage inventory levels and remove or add items to stimulate impulse sales.
  • Participate in scheduled physical inventory counts.
  • Drive sales activity through outbound calls as directed by management.
  • Assist other departments in resolving customer service issues.
  • Acknowledge company policies and procedures.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess a valid Driver's License and have prior experience working in the plumbing industry. Your proficiency in Solar Eclipse software will be highly valued. Additionally, your ability to maintain accuracy when processing orders and handling customer inquiries is essential.
