A prominent aerospace organization is seeking a Senior Asset Reliability Specialist to spearhead the development and implementation of a robust Reliability Program.
This position will oversee operations at multiple locations and work in close partnership with other Reliability Specialists across various regions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of industry-standard Reliability frameworks and preferably hold certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRL) and Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM), focusing on the Reliability Institute Uptime Elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a collaborative team in the acquisition and modification of assets to meet defined business goals while adhering to company policies.
- Develop and refine design standards and site-specific operational procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Engage in technical committees to assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of the Reliability Program.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to create joint programs based on shared best practices.
- Guide strategic decision-making by providing insights for short-term and long-term infrastructure planning, conducting studies, and analyzing current and future requirements.
- Communicate effectively with site teams at all levels regarding the development and status of the Reliability Program, upcoming actions, and required support.
- Utilize reliability tools and methodologies to analyze complex issues, identify root causes of asset failures, and enhance asset capacity.
- Implement engineering practices to mitigate potential failures in equipment and processes, managing reliability risks that could impact operations.
- Facilitate the execution of improvements in asset effectiveness, availability, and maintainability, specifying configurations for new assets to support reliability initiatives.
- Participate in the design and installation phases of projects for new and existing assets, conducting various analyses to determine component reliability.
- Analyze equipment reliability challenges and investigate to establish the necessary reliability levels while considering economic constraints.
- Gather and analyze process and equipment data, preparing diagrams, charts, and reports to define reliability issues and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications:
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, along with significant related work experience. Preferred qualifications include:
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Expertise in maintenance and reliability, material management, and CMMS/EAM/ERP optimization.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including Statistical Process Control and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Experience with reliability modeling, predictive maintenance, and various analysis techniques.
