About the Role

Kymeta is seeking a highly skilled Principal RF Antenna Engineer to join our antenna research and design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art electronically scanned antennas using metamaterial technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and development of electronic beam steering antenna concepts
  • Analytical and full-wave analysis of waveguide and antenna components
  • Developing computational tools for array antenna design and analysis
  • Prototype hardware development in collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
  • Collaboration with test engineers to conduct comprehensive farfield and nearfield measurements
Requirements
  • Master's in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Applied Physics, or similar degree field with 8+ years of industry experience
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Applied Physics, or similar degree field with 10+ years of industry experience
  • Strong background in antennas with a solid understanding of theoretical and practical limits
  • Experience with design and hardware implementation of array antennas, filters, and impedance matching networks in Ku and Ka bands
  • Experience with electronically scanned antennas is a significant plus
