Westside Family Healthcare Inc. is seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality primary dental care services to patients, while working closely with the Chief Medical Officer to integrate oral health services with primary medical care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. In addition to performing routine dental exams, procedures, and treatments, the Dentist will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the dental department's annual Health Care Plan.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities:

  • Examine teeth, gums, and related tissues to evaluate dental health and diagnose diseases or abnormalities.
  • Perform routine dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and crowns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the dental department's annual Health Care Plan.
  • Provide preventive or corrective services to patients, as needed.
  • Record patient-dentist interactions in the patient's dental record.
  • Advise or instruct patients regarding preventive dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, or oral health care services.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and dental treatments performed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine.
  • Eligible for license to practice dentistry in the State of Delaware.
  • Basic life support certification.
  • Ability to travel between worksites as needed.
  • Eligibility for staff privileges to local hospitals as needed.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records.
