Customer Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Care Specialist to join our team at SuperCare Health. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our patients, clients, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming phone calls and faxes, taking orders for medical equipment and supplies
- Maintain open communication with patients and referral sources, addressing their questions and concerns
- Prepare intake and gather necessary information for referrals, including patient demographics and medical history
- Verify medical necessity and eligibility for services with physicians and insurance carriers
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery of medical equipment and supplies
- Provide education and support to patients on financial responsibilities and benefit information
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into our computer system
- Attend departmental meetings and in-services to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures
- Experience in the medical supply industry or a related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
