Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Support Worker to join our team at the Low Income Housing Institute in Seattle, WA. As a Residential Security Liaison, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster a Safe Environment: Ensure the building is free from safety hazards and maintain a clean and well-maintained common area.
  2. Monitor Building Access: Provide an onsite presence mainly at the reception desk, monitoring the building through security cameras and individuals entering and exiting the property.
  3. Enforce House Rules: Educate residents on guest policies and enforce rules to maintain a positive community atmosphere.
  4. Respond to Emergencies: Respond to emergencies on site, being on-call with a cell phone and performing grounds checks. Call 911 in case of emergencies such as fire or injuries.
Requirements
  • One Year Property Security Experience: A minimum of one year experience in property security or a related field.
  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills: Proven ability to resolve conflicts and address resident concerns effectively.
  • Good Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, management, and colleagues.

Compensation

Estimated annual salary: $45,000 - $54,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
