Job Title: Digital Court Reporter

Neal R. Gross and Co. is a leading provider of court reporting and transcription services, serving clients across the Washington, DC area and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Digital Court Reporter to join our team on a full-time basis, working from client sites in Denver and remotely.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Digital Court Reporter to create accurate records of proceedings in various settings, including legal courts, non-profit board rooms, and Congressional committee hearings. As a Digital Court Reporter, you will use specialized equipment to capture and transcribe proceedings, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at client sites and proceedings
  • Interact with high-level clients, including government agencies and private industry representatives
  • Digitally record and report proceedings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure quality control
  • Write executive summaries and meeting minutes for various proceedings
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience as a Digital Court Reporter
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Reliable punctuality and deadline-oriented
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with technology and able to learn new systems
  • Bachelor's degree, with bonus for foreign language education
  • Ability to pass security screening for access to client sites and government buildings
  • AAERT certification strongly preferred
