About the Opportunity

The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine is seeking exceptional candidates for faculty positions in Gerontology, Geriatrics and Palliative Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research, educational, and clinical programs in Gerontology, Geriatrics and Palliative Care.
  • Collaborate with the Division to expand and enhance existing programs and to develop new initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of programs that meet the Division's research, service, and educational missions.
  • Opportunities for promotion and leadership are available at both UAB and the affiliated Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center sites.

Requirements

Candidates must have an MD or other doctoral degree in a related field and relevant postdoctoral experience.

MD candidates must be board certified or board eligible in a pertinent specialty.
