The UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is set to unveil a cutting-edge, 11-story inpatient rehabilitation facility.
This new establishment will feature 78 rehabilitation beds equipped with the latest technology, all aimed at enhancing functional activity.

Job Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process to provide care and/or counsel individuals in promoting and maintaining health while preventing illness and injury.
Employ a systematic critical-thinking approach to facilitate data collection, assessment, nursing judgment, intervention, and evaluation of human responses to actual and potential health issues through activities such as health education, counseling, and delivering care that supports life and ensures a peaceful death.
Identify patient needs utilizing the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) Synergy Model.Delegate, coordinate, and manage all facets of nursing care provided to patients, their families, and the community in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Deliver patient care in collaboration with patients, their families, and all healthcare team members, with the oversight of a licensed physician, psychologist, podiatrist, and/or dentist.
Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Work experience cannot substitute for the educational requirement. Must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be necessary.
