Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Banquet Bartender to join our team. This role requires availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all operational procedures established by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Uphold food and beverage safety standards and quality as per hotel and franchise guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment, following all departmental procedures.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Facilitate effective communication with management and fellow staff members.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Daily Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as light meals, to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and maintain adequate stock levels.

Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and operational manuals.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or food safety training is advantageous.
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) is preferred.
  • Understanding of food and beverage cost management.
  • Proficient in basic math skills.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and activities relevant to our clientele.
