Construction Materials Testing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Materials Testing Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection practice, you will be responsible for supervising our team of materials testing and inspection personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the work of materials testing and inspection personnel, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Review and approve field and laboratory reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Provide training and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews and assessments to ensure staff are meeting performance goals.
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Registered PE in California.
- Proven experience in materials testing and inspection, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of technicians and inspectors.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
