We are seeking an experienced Homeless Outreach Manager to join our team at BRC. As a Homeless Outreach Manager, you will work directly with unsheltered individuals on the streets and in transportation hubs of Manhattan to motivate them to accept services that will get them off the streets.

About the Role:

  • You will build trust with each individual, break down resistance to services, and remain determinedly focused on identifying appropriate placements for our clients
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals
  • Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed

Requirements:

  • LMSW/LCSW required
  • A minimum of three years of experience in direct services to the homeless and/or mentally ill and substance abusing populations
  • Previous homeless outreach experience preferred
  • Two years or more supervisory experience required
