Position SummaryWe are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Front Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive front office support to both patients and clinicians. Key responsibilities include managing patient interactions, overseeing check-in and check-out processes, and addressing inquiries related to insurance coverage and benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and assist patients during check-in/check-out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and co-payments are collected.
- Provide initial assessment paperwork to patients, review for completion, and integrate electronic forms into the EHR system.
- Respond to phone calls and assist patients with various inquiries, including payment questions and release requests.
- Maintain the accuracy of patient accounts, ensuring correct billing addresses, contact details, and payment authorizations.
- Support patients in scheduling and rescheduling appointments, both in-person and virtual, ensuring accuracy in the appointment system.
- Assist patients with accessing Vsee, the Patient Portal, and navigating our website.
- Manage email communications and patient messages through the Patient Portal.
- Conduct daily audits of the appointment schedule for accuracy and cleanliness of the office environment.
- Perform general office duties, including sorting mail, scanning documents, and managing efaxes.
- Provide backup support to the Office Lead for pre-appointment processes and undertake additional tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, with a preference for healthcare experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA regulations is advantageous.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
