Staff Device Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Device Hardware Engineer to join our Wireless Technology organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring RF OTA, RF Front End, Power ICs, and Battery performance. Your expertise in 4G/5G wireless technology and RF Front end design will be instrumental in creating an overall strategic technical vision and roadmap for DISH Wireless device RF, Front End, and power management features.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership for RF OTA, Front End, and Power Management within DISH Wireless Device/Network organization.
- Create and manage 5G device requirements, test plans, and features for Antenna and Battery performance.
- Design, test, optimize, and implement compact antenna solutions for 5G Cellular, WLAN, Bluetooth, IEEE.
- Experience with regulatory processes (FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, GCF) and Device compliance certification for RF OTA (TRP/TIS) and SAR.
- Work closely with third-party testing vendors, OEMs, Network Engineering, and Roaming partners to align device/network performance with DISH Wireless objectives.
- Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering (Masters or PhD preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in the wireless telecom industry with a service provider and/or device OEM in antenna and RF Circuit design/simulation.
- 5+ years in deep technical role, as an engineer/architect, R&D systems, product management and/or related area.
