As a Substation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical substations for large-scale data center campuses. You will work closely with our team of engineers, designers, and consultants to deliver high-quality, reliable, and sustainable solutions that meet our clients\u2019 specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop electrical substations for high and medium voltage power distribution
* Oversee the production of one-line diagrams, conceptual designs, plan-section drawings, foundation, grounding, specifications, and other drawings needed to complete a comprehensive set of construction documents
* Work with cross-discipline design teams, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications
* Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams, and manufacturers
* Select and schedule major equipment
* Lead QA/QC process and sign off on engineering documents
* Perform substation testing and commissioning as needed
* Develop proposals (scope of work, estimate, etc.)

Requirements:

* 7+ years of Professional Substation Engineering design experience designing high/medium voltage power distribution, physical design, transmission line design, etc.
* Valid P.E. license and Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience working independently, managing priorities, and providing mentorship to junior staff
* Strong understanding of electrical codes
* Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives
* Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated to work as a team and lead others
* Top-notch organization, attention to detail, combined with excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit
