Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy, providing exceptional patient care, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including staff supervision, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clinical services to patients, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and health screenings.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote health and wellness in the community.
• Manage the pharmacy budget and ensure financial performance meets company expectations.

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state where the pharmacy is located.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and pharmacy operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Experience with pharmacy software and technology systems.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
