About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician at Optum, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications and related supplies in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Process and pack outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Active and unrestricted state NHA CpHT license OR the ability to obtain one prior to start date
  • 6+ months of experience in a warehouse/pharmacy
  • Ability to work in office at 5700 Com Ct. Suite 1000 Oviedo, FL 32765, Monday Friday between the hours of 6:00 AM 2:30 PM EST (40 hours per week)
  • Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for entire shift, a lot of walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environment (warehouse is climate controlled)
