Pharmacy Clerk Job Description

As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be responsible for processing, packing, and shipping outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring that all necessary items are included. You will also perform ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage and refrigeration of perishable products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and pack outgoing pharmacy orders
  • Perform ordering and inventory/warehouse duties
  • Properly store and refrigerate perishable products
  • Create and fix shipping labels as needed
  • Bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed
  • Assist with answering shipping and delivery door and inventory order
  • Receive and store box orders
  • Learn functions related to commercial courier and shipping system
  • Ensure adequate stock of ice bricks for packaging
  • Empty trash and assemble shipping boxes
  • Maintain knowledge of shipping holiday schedule
  • Maintain open communications regarding courier issues with supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience in a warehouse, assembly line, or production environment
  • Pharmacy experience in any setting
