Faculty Position in Behavioral Health and Social Sciences

Job Summary:
The Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University is seeking a full-time faculty member to join its Department of Medical Sciences, specializing in Behavioral Health and Social Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching medical students across the pre-clinical curriculum and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Teach medical students broadly across the behavioral and social sciences through various instructional methods.
- Develop, coordinate, integrate, deliver, and assess curricular materials independently and in collaboration with other faculty members.
- Clinician candidates may also be engaged in instruction in the clinical curriculum.
- Advise and mentor medical students regarding academic, curricular, capstone project, and career matters.
- Additional specific responsibilities include scholarly activity, service on committees, and other duties as negotiated and assigned.
Qualifications:
- A MD, DO, or PhD degree is required.
- Experience in teaching, scholarship, and/or clinical practice of behavioral and social sciences is highly desirable.
- Successful candidates must present evidence of an established record of, or demonstrate a strong potential for, effective teaching.
- A commitment to work productively with a team of medical educators from other basic and clinical science disciplines is essential.
- Evidence for potential of productive scholarly and creative activity is also desired.
