About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Advanced Dental Health Center. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care and ensure accurate treatment planning.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using advanced technology, such as iTero 3D scanners and digital photography.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring seamless communication and data management.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient environment.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow, ensuring maximum productivity and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
