Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed dentists with basic dental procedures, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive treatment outcome.
  • Learn and implement proper infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures under the direction of the dentist, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Prepare patient care procedures, execute efficient chairside support, and ensure smooth transitions between treatment phases.
  • Provide patient education on postoperative and general oral health care, as directed by the dentist.
  • Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital patient chart, following dentist instructions.
  • Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history to the dentist prior to treatment.
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies.

Qualifications

  • No prior dental experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
