**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Shift Electrician to join our team at Nucor Steel Nebraska. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day electrical maintenance in the plant, automation, supporting maintenance and production crews, special projects, and daily use of CMMS. They will also focus on eliminating downtime and waste, improving predictive and preventative maintenance, which includes troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production equipment.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, including power system maintenance and PLC systems. Experience with building, programming, and troubleshooting is highly desirable. Additionally, they must be able to work scheduled/unscheduled shifts, rotating day and night shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must also be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
