Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care - Cardiology

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care works in collaboration with the physician in either the inpatient or outpatient setting caring for acute and chronically ill and injured patients. Specialties include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Palliative Care, Transplant, Pulmonary, Oncology, Orthopedics, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality patient care
  • Care for acute and chronically ill and injured patients
  • Work in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide education to patients and families
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree
  • AANP Certification
  • Current RN license
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Three to five years clinical nursing practice in the acute care setting
