Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider, including performing vital signs, taking medical histories, and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing patients for exams, and updating patient records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, from check-in to discharge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a medical assistant training program preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
