Job Description:

This is a full-time outpatient gastroenterology opportunity with a team-oriented gastroenterology and hepatology practice of 5 board-certified gastroenterologists, 4 physician assistants, and 2 nurse practitioners.

The ideal candidate will have experience in gastroenterology, however, candidates with extensive clinical experience will be considered.

The group has been very successful in training PAs and NPs to develop the skills needed to become outstanding gastroenterology consultants.

The candidate will see outpatient consultations, manage chronic illnesses such as cirrhosis and inflammatory bowel disease, and perform office evaluations of urgent gastroenterology problems.

Board certification as a NP or PA, a Maine NP or PA license, and DEA certificate are required.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Maine State Board of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Maine State Board of Nursing
