Position Overview:


Reporting to the Executive of Business Development, this role is integral to a collaborative sales team focused on driving revenue from non-dues and non-member sources.

This position will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential clients, managing the entire sales pipeline, and successfully closing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector to research and identify potential leads, including hospitals, health systems, and medical practices.
  • Utilize various outreach methods, such as phone calls, emails, and industry events, to generate and qualify leads. Conduct proactive prospecting to initiate discussions with key decision-makers.
  • Engage with prospects to assess their needs and challenges. Qualify leads based on established criteria.
  • Take ownership of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records throughout the sales process.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by successfully closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our healthcare offerings to effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
  • Create and maintain sales materials, including presentations and collateral, to support sales initiatives.
  • Document all interactions with leads and provide regular updates on lead generation and qualification efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior sales leaders to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and contribute to ongoing improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive dynamics to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare sales or a related area, with a proven record of achieving sales goals.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is required.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with products, services, and operational practices.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborative team environments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
