As a key member of the Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail team, the Assistant General Manager - Operations Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and operational excellence in our restaurants. This leadership position oversees the training and development of team members, upholds high standards of quality and service, and collaborates closely with the Food and Beverage team to drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency in all aspects of service delivery.
- Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience in our restaurants.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with the Food and Beverage team, management, and other stakeholders to drive business results and achieve operational goals.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing priorities and unexpected circumstances.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating risks to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting, preferably in high-volume or fast-casual dining environments.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Proficiency in basic math, cash handling, and reporting, with familiarity with computer systems, including MS Office. Certification in ServSafe is required.
