As a key member of the team, reporting to the Senior Program Officer, the SRS Program Specialist for Data, Monitoring & Quality will play a crucial role in supporting Global Refuge's mission to deliver exceptional programs and services for unaccompanied minors and families. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Program Managers and the Assistant Director in overseeing program quality and implementing quality assessment tools.
- Conduct data entry tasks, including the creation and auditing of electronic case files.
- Upload referral documents into the Global Refuge database and monitor compliance with programmatic outcomes.
- Support various programmatic communication efforts, including memos, network communications, informational materials, and other related tools.
- Maintain current contact lists and manage changes in databases.
- Coordinate monthly and periodic partner meetings.
- Oversee the network-wide training schedule and track participant experiences.
- Assist in preparing for headquarters monitoring by collecting memos, training plans, and informal communications throughout the year and filing reports.
- Provide administrative support for funding proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or human services program support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in web communication technologies, including Teams and Go To Meeting.
- Experience in a nonprofit organization is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate complex information, identifying patterns and critical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to Global Refuge's core mission and values, demonstrating those values in interactions with colleagues and partners; dedication to empowering refugees and migrants.
Special Position Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to various sites and attend relevant conferences, up to 10% of the time.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must successfully pass an FBI background check and a CA/N check for every state of residence in the past five years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
