Job Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care and assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role is responsible for supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and is accountable to support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.
  • Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated.
  • Support the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety.
