**Job Summary:**
This role provides direct clinical patient care and assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct clinical patient care to assigned patients
* Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients
* Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated
* Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
* Support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
