Job Summary

As a key member of the Samaritan Health Services Materials Management team, the Assistant Manager will provide critical support to leadership in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain departments. This role requires a strong ability to manage coverage, fill in as needed, and collaborate with other sites to guarantee adequate coverage for our operations to continue.

Department Overview

The SHS Materials Management Department is responsible for providing stewardship of resources and leadership in purchasing, receiving, distribution, and inventory control. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the supply chain needs of our enterprise are met efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Five (5) years of supply chain/materials management experience required
  • Experience or training in computer applications required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Physical Demands

The Assistant Manager will occasionally be required to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting. The physical demands of this role are moderate and require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
