Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Virtua, Inc., you will play a crucial role in coordinating daily activities within the Cardiac Cath Lab department. Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic Cath procedures in accordance with approved techniques and ALARA Limits.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the IC/EP Cardiologist, you will perform all Cardiac Cath lab/EP procedures on various patient populations. You will prepare and maintain a sterile environment, provide instruction to patients, and utilize aseptic techniques while assisting the interventional radiologist.

You will consistently provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to procedures and reviewing physicians' orders.

You will ensure accurate inventory supply par levels for all Interventional products utilized.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RT is required.

You must be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

You must be registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) and licensed by the State of New Jersey DEP.

CPR certification is required.
