About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Relationship Specialist to join our team at Royal Banks of Missouri. As a key member of our Retail Banking department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and maintaining high relationship selling results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide superior client service and maintain high relationship selling results through finding information and solutions in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand products thoroughly in order to introduce and sell new and current products to clients and prospects.
  • Account Management: Open and close checking, savings, certificate of deposit, and IRA accounts with less than 3 errors per month.
  • Sales Performance: Meet sales goals for a minimum of 6 continuous months.
  • Team Support: Support and back-up other employees as needed.
  • Client Greeting: Open the door or stand to greet clients and guests in a warm and outgoing manner as they enter the Bank.
  • Teller Duties: Complete all Teller duties, including making deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks and receiving loan payments.
  • Problem Solving: Make good judgment calls on client issues.
  • Product Introduction: Possess a general understanding of products in order to introduce and sell new and current products to clients and prospects.
  • Phone Handling: Answer the phone and handle client inquiries.
  • Prospecting: Seek new prospects and follow-up with them via outbound calls, mail, or email.
  • Client Interaction: Log all client calls and interactions through the use of Bank software.
  • Performance Goals: Contribute to Bank success by learning individual goals and expectations established and how they relate to the incentive plan.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash counts; no outages.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understand Regulation E.
  • Training and Compliance: Complete assigned Sales Training and Compliance Testing.
  • Departmental Meetings: Participate in departmental meetings, including accepting assignments for presentations at such meetings.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
  • Punctuality: Report to work punctually as scheduled.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year Banking experience.
  • Client Service: Client service experience.
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience/skills.
  • Cash Handling: Cash handling experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic PC Skills: Basic PC skills-MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
