Job Title: Lead Building Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Building Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for directing the mobile engineers and overseeing the operations and maintenance of our assigned buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly operations and mechanical reports, as well as technical evaluations and deficiencies reports on existing mechanical systems and components.
  • Maintain staffing schedules and employment records for responsible areas, ensuring accurate planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering and maintenance work.
  • Plan and coordinate work schedules in accordance with established priorities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Provide engineers with essential data for overall and long-range planning, ensuring effective decision-making.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain and operate HVAC equipment and associated systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate purchasing and inventory control procedures, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
  • Attend periodic management and executive training seminars, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Preventive Maintenance Program and Building Automation Systems.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination of work orders, job completion dates, and priorities.
  • Provide criticality information to the Engineering Manager regarding building operations.
  • Make recommendations for system improvements through the immediate supervisor or management.
  • Contribute to the development of Capital Projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid applicable state driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years of training and experience in electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration system operation, design application, and maintenance.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in technical operations supervision.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer-based applications, including Excel and Word.

This is a 100% in-office position, requiring standard business hours and no remote work or telecommuting options. We offer a competitive salary range of $43-$48 USD per hour.
