Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced ITAM Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our ITAM software development team, you'll be responsible for building and managing high-performing teams, driving the development of scalable and efficient ITAM applications, and ensuring the delivery of world-class ITAM services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Set clear goals and expectations for team members, provide guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and guidance on software development procedures and processes.
  • Communication: Represent the software development team in meetings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in design control activities, monitor and evaluate project progress, and ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
  • Requirements Gathering: Understand client requirements, translate them into application features, and collaborate with IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to team members, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in direct people management of software engineers, 5+ years of experience with building and managing highly scalable reporting platforms, and 5+ years of Scrum or Agile experience.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of development tools and processes, excellent understanding of software design and programming principles, knowledge of SQL and relational database systems, good knowledge of.NET, C#, and the Microsoft stack, and experience and knowledge of architecting solutions.
  • Preferred Qualifications: IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate complex subject matter, ability to self-manage, take initiative, and be resourceful, ability to work both individually and in a team environment, strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, and ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Compensation: The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000, dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
