Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced ITAM Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our ITAM software development team, you'll be responsible for leading the development of next-generation ITAM applications, providing a world-class ITAM services experience. You'll work closely with a talented cross-functional tech team, including software engineers and QA, to create scalable, low-latency, and intelligent software that will have a significant impact on our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set achievable goals for team members to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance work productivity.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality.
  • Ensure adherence to software development procedures and processes.
  • Represent the software development team in meetings and participate in design control activities.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
  • Write, review, and revise project requirements and specifications.
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into application features.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
  • Provide technical support to team members and maintain confidentiality regarding processed, stored, or accessed information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in direct people management of software engineers.
  • 5+ years of experience with building and managing highly scalable reporting platforms.
  • 5+ years of Scrum or Agile experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of development tools and processes.
  • Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database systems.
  • Good knowledge of.NET, C#, and the Microsoft stack.
  • Experience and knowledge of architecting solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM) experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to self-manage, take initiative, and be resourceful.
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
