Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide team members in the preparation of various tax filings, including 1040, 1120, 1065, 990, 706, and 709 for individuals, partnerships, corporations, fiduciaries, and tax-exempt organizations.
  • Perform tax research to guarantee adherence to regulations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for the client billing system.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide mentorship.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time proficiently.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; an advanced degree in Taxation is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity.
  • Proficient in CCH Axcess, ProSystem Tax, or similar tax software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Active participation in professional tax-related organizations.
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills.
