Job Summary

Aftenro Society Home for the Aged is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Obtain vital signs and weights, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Deliver meal trays to residents dining in their rooms.
  • Transport residents to and from meals and activities.
  • Make regular rounds on assigned residents to ensure their needs are met.
  • Answer call lights and respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 16 years or older
  • Pass a MN DHS Background Study
  • Every other weekend rotation is required for.3 or greater
  • Current CNA certification preferred, if enrolled in a CNA class we can start training you now
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
