We are seeking a technical lead who can drive innovation and excellence in digital signal processing systems as a Technical Lead in Digital Signal Processing at Onyx Point, Inc.

About the Role

This is a key position that requires expertise in developing software applications for digital signal processing systems using cloud-native platforms and edge computing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, Go) and experience with distributed computing frameworks (Kafka) to develop high-quality software solutions.
  • Expertise in container automation and orchestration tooling employment (Kubernetes, Docker) is required.
  • Experience with microservices, API development, and RESTful web services is also essential.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in software development and knowledge of modern software engineering methodologies are a plus.
What You'll Get to Do

You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly contribute to the success of the Spectral system. As a Technical Lead in Digital Signal Processing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software applications that meet the needs of the U.S. Navy's mission management teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed environments.
  • Active or ability to acquire Top Secret/SCI DoD Security Clearance.
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on location, role, skill set, and level of expertise.
