Job Title: Digital Signal Processing Specialist

Rincon Research Corporation is a leading developer of digital signal processing (DSP) products and services for the United States Defense and Intelligence Communities. We are seeking a talented individual to work as a Digital Signal Processing Specialist.

Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 per year.

About the Role:

This role involves working in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts who are collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions. As a Digital Signal Processing Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include providing system support through troubleshooting problems, and documenting solutions for future resolution. You will also proactively plan system upgrades, capacity improvements, and technology evolutions. Additionally, you will execute monthly operations cycles, including system patching, monitoring, maintenance, and tuning (through automation where possible) to provide maximum service uptime.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with experience with Linux systems, to include deployment, service migration, and lifecycle management. Experience with a configuration tool like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is also required. Additionally, experience managing and maintaining enterprise services such as GitLab or Harbor is necessary. The ideal candidate should also have CompTIA Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire. Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance is also required. US citizenship is mandatory.
