As an Operations Service Manager at Burlington, a leading off-price retailer in the nation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the store's overall operations. You will act as a mentor for store associates, embodying and promoting the company's Core Values, fostering trust and respect among colleagues, building cohesive teams, and driving positive business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include coaching, training, and developing a team of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors while ensuring operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining accurate record-keeping.
+ Provide direction to Customer Service Supervisors to meet customer service expectations and facilitate smooth customer transactions.
+ Oversee the execution of operational procedures and receiving protocols, including the continuous flow process.
+ Monitor inventory management processes, including transfers, damages, and charge-backs, collaborating with the Receiving Supervisor to ensure inventory accuracy.
+ Assist the Store Manager in various operational areas, including staffing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
+ Support the management of additional store operations as required.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience within an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty, or medium to large-sized multi-unit retail organization. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. and should be comfortable using scheduling and reporting software.
