About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Production Engineer to join our Packaging & Specialty Plastics Business. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our High-Pressure Copolymer Plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to leverage technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Utilize historical data and engage with subject matter experts to enhance plant operations.
  • Ensure the application of Most Effective Technology (MET) and utilize process automation to optimize performance.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and document operational practices to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze and address root causes of asset utilization losses within the facility.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the field to reinforce the importance of safety and compliance.
  • Review daily logs and alarm histories to stay informed about plant operations.
  • Monitor Key Process Indicators (KPI) to ensure optimal performance and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Act as a technical expert during unplanned events and lead corrective actions.
  • Provide insights to enhance Raw Material Efficiency, focusing on yield and waste reduction.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, along with at least three years of relevant experience. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
