Job Summary

DSJ Global, a global leader in executive search, is seeking a Product Innovation Manager to join our team. As a Product Innovation Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and innovation across our organization. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record of bringing new products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product innovation strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and develop new products, including product design, engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Lead the introduction of new products to market, including market research, product launch planning, and marketing campaigns.
  • Investigate product failure modes to understand component attrition and improve product durability.
  • Collaborate with supplier quality teams to certify new suppliers' processes (PPAP).
  • Participate in supplier development activities alongside Materials and Supplier Quality departments.
  • Develop and implement processes for internal training and system adaptation to customer needs, including BOM updates and change orders.
  • Present progress updates to stakeholders through clear and concise presentations.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring smooth integration of new products and cost reduction.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency; able to manage complex engineering tasks in a team-oriented environment.
  • Hands-on problem-solver with practical understanding of people, processes, and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, follow-up, and attention to detail in all tasks.

Accountability: The Product Innovation Manager is accountable for the successful development and introduction of new products for remanufacturing, driving growth and future program potential.

Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: This position is based in the US, with opportunities to work with clients across the globe.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in new product integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of automatic transmissions and internal combustion engines.
  • High analytical skills to solve complex and unusual problems.
  • Proven experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and estimate project timelines and costs.
