Protection Strategies Inc (PSI) is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create and execute test plans to validate the functionality of our software applications.
- Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with our development team to integrate testing into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Design and Develop Automated Tests: Develop automated tests to exercise the User Interface (UI) of our applications and ensure seamless user experience.
- Test Data Development: Develop test data for various personas and use cases to facilitate automated testing and customer demos.
- Manual Testing and Documentation: Perform manual testing processes, document results, and communicate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Troubleshoot product bugs, provide telemetry and debug information to the development team, and document issues for remediation.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall quality of our software applications.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience (or a minimum of 7 years' experience if no bachelor's degree).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, modern JavaScript frameworks, and Git-based configuration control systems for source code management.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and a lifelong learner with a competitive personality.
- DOE or DOD Experience: Previous experience working in Department of Defense (DOD) or Department of Energy (DOE) environments.
- Q Level Clearance: Possession of a Q level clearance.
