Job Title: Demand Planner

Lactalis American Group is seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Buffalo, NY.

The Demand Planner will be responsible for short, medium, and long-range demand forecasting of assigned product lines and/or channels of business. They will analyze demand and use forecasting software to generate resource and D.C. level forecasts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving continuous improvement of the sales forecasting process within the S&OP process.
  • Leading the CDP process with Commercial and Finance teams to align the financial forecast with the Consensus Demand Plan.
  • Obtaining and analyzing data from the industry, Sales force, Central Planning, and Customer Service Department for inclusion into the rolling short-term and long-term demand forecast.
  • Validating forecast splits down to the Item/D.C./week level and adjusting the short-term D.C. week forecasts as necessary.
  • Producing and publishing CDP reports and forecast accuracy metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Finance, or Statistics.
  • 3+ years of Planning experience, preferably in the Food Industry or Relative Supply Chain.
  • Specialized knowledge of FuturMaster, Stratum, and AS/400.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
