Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine project scope, quantities, and materials required.
  • Crew Management: Identify and assign tasks to crew members, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work in progress and completed projects to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Safety Management: Identify potential safety risks and implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring a safe working environment for all crew members.
  • Communication and Leadership: Provide clear instructions and guidance to crew members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as an industrial pipefitter, with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in pipefitting processes, including reading prints and construction drawings, and ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education: Formal/technical education in a relevant field, such as pipefitting or a related trade.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Zachry ROF'ed Employee: Previous experience working with Zachry Group.
  • Basic Computer Efficiency: Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting.
  • Communication: Ability to talk and hear to communicate with crew members and other stakeholders.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with occasional work at heights and use of ladders and stairways.
