Job Description

BWXT is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Advanced Technologies team as a Composite Materials Intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, develop new skills, and contribute to the development of innovative nuclear reactors and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement novel manufacturing techniques for ceramic and composite materials
  • Conduct safety analyses and generate standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in a technical field of study
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
