Quality Assurance Specialist

At L3 Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and being properly executed.
- Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed.
- Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions.
- Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas.
- Serve as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD.
